Coconut Coir Fiber

Coconut Coir Fiber

Coconut Coir Fiber is a natural fiber extracted from the outer cover of mature green and brown coconut husks. The coconut is steeped in hot seawater, and subsequently, the fiber is removed from the shell by combing and crushing. They are white or light brown in color. Natural coir fiber is baled with the assistance of rust free iron Hoops or plastic straps, to ensure its high quality and utility. In recent years, coir fiber has become increasingly popular as a sustainable alternative to synthetic fibers in a variety of applications.

It shows good stiffness and is used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes, mattresses, coarse filling material, and upholstery including automobile upholstery and for erosion control.
